At local bookshop, the first sight was "The High widow". Who could guess this is my first Raymond Chandler.

目前看過奇特也最喜歡的錢德勒：大體下筆仍是馬洛的尖刻，卻讓讀者在一個配角身上瞥見溫和的人文關懷的痕跡。

Marlowe knows everything ----except how to make a decent living.

光是“私傢偵探”，就用瞭pinkerton，shamus，peeper等等至少五種詞... 。high window沒有the long goodbye那麼妙語連珠，但是chandler用舌頭寫作的纔華真的是太迷人瞭
