This book is an illustrated guide for activity professionals working with mature adults over the age of 65, especially those who have reduced quality of life and are unable to complete daily activities due to poor functional fitness levels. This book includes a variety of specialist activity programmes to meet the needs of participants, without requiring a vast budget. There are nine short programmes to choose from. Three of these are specifically designed to strengthen the major muscle groups used to perform daily activities and each is targeted toward a different fitness level.
