Never Dull chronicles the author Robert Estabrook's expansive journalistic career. He covered world leaders from Khrushchev, De Gaulle, Adenauer, and Macmillan to Chiang Kai-shek, Nehru, and U Thant. In this telling work, Estabrook also divulges the perils and pleasures he experienced during his 34-year love affair with a country weekly in northwest Connecticut, The Lakeville Journal. The book ends with a critical look at journalism and the values that are endangered by the greed that threatens a once-noble profession.
