前兩天收到一張 MoMA 的明信片，是 Georgia O'Keeffe 的 Evening Star. 在標準模型的世界裏，也有類似德州曠野上長庚星般的存在。隱喻在此，自由詮釋。

中規中矩，重整化和標準模型筆墨較多，頗適閤從事粒子物理實驗的同學閱讀。符號有些彆扭，張量上下指標不分，同時有些囉嗦，不太適閤理論同學深入研習，但說不定對初學者比較友好吧。

啓發式教學方式，注意闡釋量子場論的構造動機，很不錯的一本書。

書寫的還是很好的，但是太過於專注於粒子物理瞭，現在形式化的場論已經發展瞭很久瞭，這本書不太適閤研究場論的人查閱。

雖然說griffths的書深度堪比小學科普，然而它的notation還是很棒的，適閤培本固元；與之相反，Schwartz的書的notation傻逼得讓人走火入魔，直接把武功練岔去。更彆說書中錶現的語言錶達力使人幾欲抓狂。能讓我對至此對Griffths另眼相看的書也是彆無此傢瞭。
