重读一遍。很扎实，满是基础知识和硬知识。附录30多页，包括古代的维吉尔传略译文、存疑诗行的辨析、可能的历史影射等等。只是正文中有些地方实在太过罗嗦。

补看了从前落下的几章。课上给学生推荐了中译本！附录很有用，正文有的地方重复。（老妈端详了半天封皮，问：这马肚子里为什么有城墙？我：说来话长…… ）

W.A.坎普（W. A. Camps，1910—1997），英国著名古典学者，曾任教于英国彭布鲁克学院、牛津大学。于20世纪60年代主编古罗马诗人普罗佩提乌斯的四卷本作品集。代表作品有《维吉尔<埃涅阿斯纪>导论》（1969）、《<荷马史诗>导论》（1980）。
