狐狸式的寫作和論證這本書最大的價值是提供瞭諸多醫學倫理的素材以及部分邏輯工具。

目前VSI看過的書裏就沒發現哪一本內容把名字撐起來瞭，不論這個introduction釋義為a book or course for people beginning to study a subject或是the first part of a book or speech that gives a general idea of what is to follow都極其名不符實。本書更是水到一個境界，個人始終認為一個以“Introduction”做標題的書，至少要做到不偏不倚、不參雜作者私人情感，然而此書作者非常明顯地錶露齣瞭自己的倫理道德傾嚮，同時邏輯也非常奇怪，列舉的反駁論證更是充滿詭辯、力度疲軟。以及拋開曆史、文化背景與政治傾嚮談倫理道德都是空中樓閣，充滿一廂情願同癡心妄想。

As a member of society, I totally agree with the best interest+volunteer rule. But as a natural human being, I prefer to decide when, how and why to die by myself, no matter it's active or passive. Writing has no problem. Logic is grounded and honest. But Ethics is all about trapping yrself and just boring...
