作者认为政治的本质是socialization of conflicts，而其结果取决于其scope。只有政党才能获得最大scope，于是政党政治成为政治主流。作者认为竞争是人民主权的必要因素，但高估了弱势群体参与竞争的程度，故对资本操控政治抱有乐观态度，似认为半主权就已经是胜利

还没有全读完 虽然半夜三更 还是起来推一把这本书 这是我读的第一本关于政治学的书 刚开始真的非常无聊== 非常无聊==无聊的让人不能忍！！！但读到最后几章发现this book redeems political science这一评价所言非虚。。。
