评分Folger版。后期莎剧，秩序崩坏，基调沉郁，《皆大欢喜》、《仲夏夜之梦》的欢乐气氛已不复存在，同样是悲剧，与《罗密欧与朱丽叶》的年少莽撞造成的悲剧不同，黑暗笼罩了整个《一报还一报》，这里有怀了孕的另一个朱丽叶，女主伊莎贝拉几乎一直在声嘶力竭地控诉不公，纯洁的伊莎贝拉找寻不到如意郎君，躲进修道院。这是西方版的《窦娥冤》，却没有六月昭雪，故事的结尾似乎一切恢复了正常，但又似乎一切都没有改变。
