雖然資料相對老舊，並且在鑒彆要領上傾嚮於實戰而非學院派，多少有些不嚴謹的地方。但是非常精美的繪畫顯然彌補瞭這方麵的不足。

评分這本書的不足之處在膠裝，我亞馬遜退換兩次，膠裝仍是硬傷，最後還是沒買。不過可惜瞭，我應該在畢業之前把此書薦購給圖書館。東林圖書館裏的《鳥類學》第二版是我薦購的，當時等瞭半年，沒想到真的薦購成功瞭
