Walker's definitive translation has been revised by Brian Richardson and is accompanied by an introduction by Bernard Crick, which illuminates Machiavelli's historical context and his new theories of politics. 发现大一的时候已经读过另一版本了,感觉马基雅维利主义其实是biased and corrupted。The discourses(好像)是他死后才广为传播的,这才是他心中的理想社会-republic. 那为什么马基雅维利主义只用来指代他在prince中的论点而不是discourses中的论点呢
