评分前两章介绍了全球化的历史并着重写了70年代以来新自由主义转向后的表现，包括国际组织政策制定，金融危机常态化，世界范围内的分层以及工作不稳定化，综述思路清晰。虽然名字叫theories但里面介绍理论的部分真挺少的，只是涉及了一下各学派的立场，法兰克福学派讲得比较多，但跟经济范畴关系不大，主要是为后面两章介绍政治与文化转向作铺垫。
