这本比上一本中的语言小众多了。编程语言确实非常多，但主流、常用的也确实只有那么几个。再多就太小众了。

Lua 作为易读简洁的也可用作嵌入式设备的脚本语言，在游戏领域用得较多。Factor 的语法则更符合数据操作流程。ELm 则是Haskell 化后来代替JS 的，而且不再用callback 而是通过消息传递来做，而且能很好的做reactive programming。Elixir 衍生于Erlang，也受Ruby 影响，但没有Scala 等那么复杂的类型系统。Julia 以后就是科学计算领域的dominator，性能如C 一样好，操作如Matlab、R等一样便捷。miniKanren 则是Clojure 里的Logic programming language，不像Prolog 那么局限，而能做更通用的编程。Idris 是动态的有类型语言，所以也就有对应的优劣。
