These seven modules on multi-grade teaching were designed as part of a wider partnership effort to assist countries to achieve quality universal primary education. The modules were developed by Commonwealth educators and tested in Tanzania. This is a really user friendly, very well laid out and easy to read and photocopy /scan set of resource materials, including lesson plans, techniques and guidance on multi-grade teaching to support multi-grade teaching for pre-service trainee teachers and for qualified or less qualified teachers, already teaching in schools, and who wish to upgrade their skills. It is written for self-study or for use as part of a teacher training programme. It is written in an interactive style using a number of techniques to help you participate fully in the learning exercises. It contains assessment strategies to help in reflection and contains answers to questions set. Published in association with the Association for the Development of Education in Africa.
