金老爺子trilogy的第二本，文筆依舊鋒利，邊讀邊腦補畫麵一幀幀，如長鏡頭般流暢。最喜歡是書店和地下室裏這兩段對峙裏密不透風的節奏和灼燒感。#停不下來係列

和上一部《Mr. Mercedes》各有所長，多瞭一條綫索，以至於不像前一部那樣節奏緊緻、環環相扣，但高潮部分無比扣人心弦，就是前戲太長瞭。結尾埋瞭個超現實現象的伏筆，雖說老金寫硬漢偵探小說也很有看頭，不過要是能看到恐怖元素在該三部麯裏「藉屍還魂」，還是挺喜聞樂見的。

可讀性四星難度1星。虎頭蛇尾的感覺開頭非常棒兩個故事分開發展結尾過於戲劇化刷地一下就結束瞭不過癮哪！

比第一本精彩。。。主綫的寶藏記事本真的很抓人，後半段甚至不需要hodges那幾個都能獨立成篇。。。難怪這個結尾瞭不然第三本hodges又要沒事可做瞭。。。

非常明顯地比第一部好很多，最讓人稱贊的是其中關於文學，作者和讀者的種種討論和想法，印象深刻，得到很多啓發。這部裏的角色寫得繼續金爺水準，尤其是前半段的Morris Belllamy寫的比Brady還要好！讓我各種嘆息和感慨，可以算是金爺筆下最愛的反派之一瞭，而且annoying男主齣場不多（而且一齣場行文質量就下降瞭...）也讓人覺得讀起來更舒暢。結尾Brady歸來感覺金爺是真正上道瞭，臍帶最終章！
