作者介紹：賈德•魯本菲爾德就讀過普林斯頓大學、尤利亞德戲劇學院和哈佛大學法學院，現在是耶魯大學法學院副院長、講座教授。魯本菲爾德最近齣版的的著作是《司法革命：美國憲法的結構》（哈佛大學齣版社，2005年）和備受稱贊的《時間和自由：自治的憲政理論》（耶魯大學齣版社，2001年）。

首先，要对作者鲁本菲尔德深深致敬。在小说的情节方面，可以明晰地见到作者在幕后下的功夫，在大量深入的研究基础上，才能比较忠实地再现上世纪初纽约的风貌。（虽然中文译本实在是没有完整地诠释出鲁本菲尔德此书文字中渗透出的涵养与文化气息，但也只能容忍了）《谋杀的...

2013年的注记最近李继宏与其译作在豆瓣上又引来不少争论，我看到有人又转发我的这篇数年前的文章的链接，似乎是想借此来抨击李继宏先生的翻译水准如何。其实，凭良心来说，他的翻译在当今的内地，可以说是不错的，完全合格的。当年写这篇评论，只是反感他过于自满的言论。...

这本书我给的5星，真不知道那些没给5星的是不是没有认真静下来看过这本书。我是一口气，一晚看完。这本书的一个特点就是对情节的描述如果眼前的画面，一帧一帧的随着书页翻动不停的展示出故事的场景和情节，镜头在切换，让你知道同一时刻，另外发生的事件，感觉太棒了。

谋杀是小说永远的主题，但讨论谋杀的小说总也很难被推为经典，从稍近的《达芬奇密码》、《但丁俱乐部》到最近的《我的名字叫红》和《谋杀的解析》皆是如此。最近的这两本小说里，我推荐后者。也许前者从形式上更具"先锋"特色，多种视角交错的手法证明作者在技巧上向卡尔维诺...
