對我這種"unenlightened" undergraduate student，reading和process of writing是非常有用的兩個chapters！research design那章幫助不大。

有些過時。1 a wandering scholar 2 chair 3 apprentice 4 donn't be funny 5 donn't be panic and blurt out the truth 5 not solve the problem, not find the true answers but to reduce the problem space 6 不要高估自己，2-3 years mean lots of work of people 7 work with nice people who you respect 8 pecking order power status, academic world is a relative simple one
