This new addition to Pelican's Nights Before Christmas series answers the question, "What would Christmas Eve be like if Santa was a trucker?" The result is a humorous encounter at the Midway truck stop that is sure to please children and adults alike. Santa stops his bright red Mack truck to fill up on black coffee and diesel fuel . . . so he can deliver such presents as radar detectors, goose-feather vests, and coupons for chicken-fried steaks. He can't stay long, though. He's got a schedule to keep and "smokies" and snowflakes to avoid. So, quick as a double-clutch, Santa's back in his rig, haulin' his load and yellin', "Merry Christmas truck jockeys, see y'all down the road!"
