I am reading this book, and i think it will be worth the effort// Now i finished reading it. It is a great book despite some lack of math deduction, which complement the size of the book. It opens a door to python machine learning and it will never close i think.

說實話這書沒有想象中的好，它的定位是cookbook，對於ML的原理是有些闡述的，但是講的不深，好多地方就是列齣一個公式，讓我這種數學渣看起來比較費勁，需要不斷的查各種資料，對於400多頁的書，也就能寫到這種程度瞭。還有本書的typo是比較多的。本書的例子還好，ML的各方麵都有涉及，對於入門是閤適的。看完本書我覺得應該讀一些理論方麵的書，然後可以再速刷一遍，鍛煉動手能力。最後兩章還沒讀完，Deep Learning不好懂啊！

讀的英文電子版，圖文並茂，代碼詳實，原理清晰，覆蓋麵適度，側重算法實現和應用，作為入門級學習教材還是非常不錯的，能初步瞭解原理，馬上上手實踐，為後續需要深入研究的讀者培養瞭學習的興趣，不至於被枯燥的算法嚇退。

充其量不过是几个常用python ML包（scikit NumPy SciPy matplotlib pandas）的 cookbook 罢了。基本上每节的流程就是先告诉你一个ML概念大概是怎么回事，真的很大概，不过好处是至少会告诉你为什么要这么做。然后用一段示例代码告诉你这个东西在Python ML包里要调用哪几个接口...

但是是有前提的： 1. 基础的线性代数知识需要大家温故知新一下； 2. 对于python中的numpy和pandas的一些基本操作需要熟悉； 3. 抽象能力，最好能把代数方程在大脑里映射出一个几何图形（最多三维）；只要有了以上的前提，读这本书还是挺靠谱的。
