这个名字很神奇，所以就好奇的看了，故事缓缓道来，其实还是蛮感人的，但并没有特别的煽情，还是一本很不错的小说，关于一个因为天生残疾被她妈虐待的女孩在二战中的遇到的一些人和事，值得一看。

发生在二战时期英国，一位有天生畸形足女孩的故事。看似简单的儿童文学故事，让我想的却不少--有时候，血缘的羁绊并不一定要是爱的前提；如何为自己发声，接受自己的“缺陷”从而接受自己，更接受来自他人的善意与爱这些并非是简单的事。一本温暖的书。结局有点仓促感，但幸好，它本来就还有下一本。
