發生在二戰時期英國，一位有天生畸形足女孩的故事。看似簡單的兒童文學故事，讓我想的卻不少--有時候，血緣的羈絆並不一定要是愛的前提；如何為自己發聲，接受自己的“缺陷”從而接受自己，更接受來自他人的善意與愛這些並非是簡單的事。一本溫暖的書。結局有點倉促感，但幸好，它本來就還有下一本。
