可以通過瀏覽本書所有的錶格圖案及描述瞭解全書觀點的一本書。非常好讀-同時也證明觀點不是很新穎不需要人停下來思考。主要觀點就是提齣global inequality應該是between country 和within country的inequality加起來。一個比較有趣的概念是citizenship premium，雖然也不是一個新穎的思考方嚮瞭不過這個名字不錯。把kuznets cycle進階到wave也是個用詞命名上的不錯嘗試，但也不算新的argument。總體來說就說瞭一些patterns和trends，我覺得挺commonsensical的，也挺west的（就是會被post-colonialists批評那種）所以看這本書看完圖片就行瞭。

總體結論不怎麼controversial，對於把一些比較鬆散的個人印象串聯起來算是有幫助。作為經濟學傢來說對數據的分析、解讀尤其是對其局限性的認知以及對相關的社會政治背景的討論算是相當不錯瞭，可惜還是有點泛泛而談。

A more open migration policy would reduce global inequality even further.
