Freedom一章最佳 Cosmopolitan continues to speak as if having choices were the same thing as having power. 这类本质上依然以男性为中心的女权论调剖析看来不少是由商业化立场驱动的书的内容不局限于标题的表述由男女情场地位不同扩展到了职场乃至整体社会认知的差异后半渐入佳境!

以为会是老套的鸡汤，结果发现作者很良心，从美国dating culture的历史和起源讲起，对为什么现在hook up文化盛行，为什么感情常有“值得”“不值得”这样的衡量词汇或标准，以及人们内心深处其实需要的是什么有了更深的理解。其中也包括了对LGBT社群，黑人社群的研究。但是好像没有说很多亚裔社群和拉美社群。总的来说对理解dating culture还是很有帮助，超出了我的预期。

Moira Weigel was born in Brooklyn. Her writing has appeared in The Guardian, The Nation, The New Republic, n+1, and The New Inquiry, among other publications, and she is currently completing a PhD in Comparative Literature at Yale University. After years of first-person research on dating, she is off the market. Labor of Love is her first book.
