苏力，北京大学法学院教授。祖籍江苏，生于1955年愚人节。少年从军，又当过工人。1978年恢复高考后，复转军人进了法学院。1984年读硕士期间赴美留学，获硕士和博士学位。1992年回北大任教。《法治及其本土资源》《送法下乡》《道路通向城市》《法律与文学》等独著，《法理学问题》《超越法律》《无需法律的秩序》等译著以及论文、书评百余篇。
