因為之前那篇長文How Do We Change America? 學到瞭很多新的知識點，開始聽這本。幾乎是那篇長文的詳細展開，還沒看完就推薦！|斷斷續續聽完瞭，前麵火力全開，討伐黑人精英融入體製之後沒有試圖去改變systemic racism的現狀，也很清晰地分析瞭社會主義思潮如何被精英有意識地漸漸和黑人民權運動剝離開來。對階級和種族交互性的討論很有意思，點齣運動的anti-capitalism的重要性。全書算是對年輕人（尤其是製度影響下，年輕女性黑人帶頭）充滿希望，可以作為行動指南。

剖析瞭blm齣現的背景:種族主義文化的建構，新自由主義三十年下黑人政治精英融入體製，司法係統長期雙標，奧巴馬上颱後的幻滅。然後介紹瞭blm運動的興起以及與黑權運動的曆史聯係，全書最精彩的還是最後一章吧，為什麼一定要有獨立的黑人運動而不是單一的階級政治，又是為什麼黑人運動一定要看到階級政治的有效性以實現最根本的變革，受益良多

Her articles have been published in Souls: A Critical Journal of Black Politics, Culture and Society, Jacobin, New Politics, the Guardian, In These Times, Black Agenda Report, Ms., International Socialist Review, Al Jazeera America, and other publications. Taylor is assistant professor in the department of African American Studies at Princeton University.
