一些部分有些敏感，信息又量很大，應該不會有翻譯版，所以堅持讀完這麼厚一本也是不容易。不過修正三觀的話，還是很劃算的！

Blinkist掃過。標題裏的概念在這些年已經被反復提及，民粹主義，身份標簽之後的單一性和過分強調性，人群小團體的“部落化”，都導緻瞭社會的越發割裂與極端。但本書好像也有點割裂。前麵寫的是民主資本主義社會是一個奇跡，最先齣現在英國有一定的偶然性，但在美國的話就是一個有意識有追求的選擇。英國有島國的天然地理優勢、common law的追溯先例和英國本身的個體精神與free association。麵對人性最初的競爭性和殘忍性，當代西方社會追求和保護每個人的right to life, liberty and property是一個奇跡。洛剋認為是保護個體權利，盧梭認為是同意上交一定的個體利益以保證社會集體利益，這樣個體不會被社會腐化。精英領導依舊以能力基礎，可以有效但必須受到監督。
