The map of the human genome, DNA sequencing technology, demographic transition, sexual selection, the human microbiome project, speciation, from above various aspects, the author tried to figure out the mechanism behind human evolving. Very informative.
评分暂时给3.5星吧，现在听了一半了，还没和future humans有关系呢。主要都是回顾近现代的进化生物学案例。但是胜在可读性很高，提到的案例非常有意思。例如，镰刀型细胞贫血病和非洲疟疾之间的关系。非洲人携带镰刀型细胞基因的比例要比很多其他地区的人高出很多。镰刀型细胞贫血症本来是一种遗传病，隐性（aa）的患者死亡率很高，这种基因本来应该自然淘汰。但是因为非洲疟疾流行，而携带镰刀型细胞杂合基因型（aA）的人感染疟疾的几率比正常人低很多。因此镰刀型细胞以杂合的方式在非洲保存了下来。
