我觉得不用强求猜不透结局，主要还是看人物怎么走到那里的。感觉英国小说没那么架空，人物更细腻，有一种奇妙的真实感，偶尔还会出现很有哲思的话。女主说人年轻的时候觉得自己一辈子不会变，但其实是fluid的。突然就释然了。结尾也很感动。四星因为有的地方还可以再说说但是没说完或者和我的逻辑不太符合，有点出戏。
评分周末读完了本书 前半部分很精彩 尤其是人物视角的转换 后面有些拖沓了 而且最后的结局感觉是强行圆满 对所有直接或间接参与犯罪的人都太宽容 比如Noelle这么残忍的犯罪居然就不追究了？比如Floyd对待感情多年的态度（感觉是个渣男，不懂后面为什么变得这么深情）让Noelle犯罪最后失手杀了她 居然冷静的把她冰起来 这也是正常人做的出来的吗 居然不追究了？感觉很莫名其妙。
评分读完好久已经没多少记忆了，很一般，天真少女被病态家教拘禁借腹生子的故事，可以写得更好的，比如说Room。
评分感觉剧情没有想象的那么悬疑，只不过是一个不能生育的女人，为了留住丈夫对自己的爱，绑架一位花季少女，购买精子，借腹怀孕，谎称是自己所生孩子，随后残忍伤害花季少女。而她的丈夫在得知所有事情真相之后，和花季少女妈妈有一段暧昧关系之后，写信揭露真相，然后因为承受不了生命之重，妻子死亡，最后自杀生亡。花季少女所生的女儿则相当于她的灵魂存在，给予家人寄托。故事结尾以小女孩的人一封信结尾。感觉像是解释了生活中很多看起来毫无里头的事情似乎都有其存在的含义。为人还是要向善，坏人终究还是会受到灵魂的谴责。
