超有意思，我一个不懂艺术的看得津津有味……主体是画，有些画有详细介绍，详细到猫的各种习性，比如说猫尾巴通常暗示了猫的想法，但并不总是这样，旁边的画里是一只尾巴弯到头顶脑子里想着《巴黎评论》的猫 2333。除了画以外还有独立的文字页，一般是名家或者匿名家写的关于猫的箴言，比如 There are no ordinary cats; For a man to truly understand rejection, he must first be ignored by a cat……

带美少女友邻逛思南书局的时候刷完的。翻开第一页就是大蛋帆布袋上印的那句凡尔纳的颂猫诗，"A cat, I am sure, could walk on a cloud without coming through." 挺好玩的都是诗歌和绘画艺术里的猫，然后还记下了一句"For a man to truly understand rejection, he must first be ignored by a cat." 2333

Angus Hyland is a partner at Pentagram Design London. His work for Laurence King includes The Picture Book (2010, with Steven Bateman), Symbol (2011), and The Purple Book (2013). Caroline Roberts is a journalist and author who writes mainly about the graphic arts. She is the co-author of New Book Design, Cut & Paste: 21st-Century Collage, and most recently 50 Years of Illustration. She was the founder of Grafik magazine.
