大叔终于确认自己就是要和警察工作相伴终老了，同事们嘴上不说，实际还是很温情的～对新加入的警察小姐姐描写很出彩，深夜发现炸弹和最后的飞机场追逐也很好看，大片即视感

从上一本的多线又跳回了单线叙事，Mankell依然还在实验。中间有些情节写得很精彩，包括描写我懒得抑郁的那段，不加掩饰、不加评价、直接朝读者的脸上甩过去，完全的北欧黑色文学风。其实可以叫做“我懒得调教小女警记”，一个重要的人物加入了，而且一下子就确立了她的位置，也算是这一部成功的一个地方。
