Nina Gray is an independent curator and scholar specializing in nineteenth-century decorative arts and architecture who is also the author of a book on Tiffany lamps.
Margaret K. Hofer, curator of Decorative Arts at the New-York Historical Society, has worked with the Society's Neustadt collection of Tiffany lamps since 1993.
The discvery of the Clara Driscoll correspondence, the event that has inspired this book and exhibition, is a landmark in the scholarship on Tiffany Studios as well as an opportunity to revisit the important Tiffany collection at the New-York Historical Society.
