Street art is an especially important subject. The CITY LANGUAGE BERLIN project started out as a photo series about abandoned scrap bicycles and then, the photographer Christoph noticed there is a lot more to document. Later it includes slogans, chewing gum machines, 'snack' signs, 'keep exit clear' signs and 'street rubbish'. which is just rubbish that people dump in the streets.
After several hundred miles of footslogging and around 3,000 35mm pictures, the project has taken on enormous dimensions. A single picture by itself is nothing, but a single picture among many is part of a system. So in this book you have Christoph's vision of CITY LANGUAGE BERLIN in your hands.
