David J. Wallin博士是一位在美國加利福尼亞州Mill　Valley和Albany私人執業的臨床心理學傢。他是哈佛大學的畢業生，而後在加利福尼亞州伯剋利的賴特學院獲得博士學位。他從事心理治療、教學以及寫作工作已近30年。Wallin博士也是與Stephen　Goldbart閤著的《勾勒心靈地圖：熱情、柔情和愛的能力》（Mapping　the　Terrain　of　the　Heart:　Passion,　Tenderness,　and　the　Capacity to　Love）一書的作者之一。
