第一人稱復數的視角和第三人稱敘述無縫交疊，好像一齣室內小劇場，十二個角色站成一排，有時集體動作，有時聚光燈又分彆地打在每個人身上，就一個接著一個地演活瞭。第三人稱的客觀感和第一人稱的局限感，讓讀者時時刻刻感到心理上認同女孩子們，卻又像她們一樣，對事件的發生、背後的動機感到茫然哀痛。細節描寫極其豐富生動。青春期女孩子們壓抑的的性欲，嫉妒與失望，直到最後的暴虐，培養得算是不緊不慢。如果前麵將孩子們對老師的迷戀和欲望用更長篇幅描述可能更好一些。幾十年後部分有些冗長、意義不大，看著甚至有掃興的感覺。並且到最後也沒揭露校長在信件裏究竟寫瞭什麼，大概是她已經知道她們殺瞭費瑪吧，雖然比較明顯，但還是有種一個綫頭被作者遺落在那裏瞭的感覺呢。

评分旁觀者視角，得齣的都是似是而非的真相。唯有堅信“忠誠、高貴、誠實”的早熟公主被一群青春期躁動女孩虐殺這一確切結果。電影原著各有魅力，少數看瞭其一還有耐心看完另一個的作品。
评分個人很喜歡小說的結局。電影改編提升瞭作品的美感和並拓展瞭思考的空間。小說更殘酷。
