可读性很强的Materialist epistemology，后面一半深入谈科学认知论karl popper等就有点略过了。前半段的三种仪器、三种认知方式：model knowledge/ working knowledge/ encapsulated knowledge 非常有趣

一副好牌被打的稀烂...也许是隔行如隔山，从科学史的角度看这本书实在觉得蜻蜓点水，根本没有质疑objectivity v. subjectivity，public v. private，materials v. ideas这些思维定式，庆幸现在谈materialist epistemology没有人还会这么写。
