可讀性很強的Materialist epistemology，後麵一半深入談科學認知論karl popper等就有點略過瞭。前半段的三種儀器、三種認知方式：model knowledge/ working knowledge/ encapsulated knowledge 非常有趣

一副好牌被打的稀爛...也許是隔行如隔山，從科學史的角度看這本書實在覺得蜻蜓點水，根本沒有質疑objectivity v. subjectivity，public v. private，materials v. ideas這些思維定式，慶幸現在談materialist epistemology沒有人還會這麼寫。
