Davide Bertozzi was born in Faenza in August 1973. In 1999 he received the master degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Bologna, with a thesis on the design of programmable Analog-to-Digital Converters (a cooperation with ST Microelectronics). In 2000 he started his PhD at the same University under the supervision of Prof. Luca Benini. The PhD dissertation was discussed in 2003 and focused on "Energy-Efficient Connectivity of Network Devices: from Wireless Local Area Networks to Micro-Networks of Interconnects". Davide Bertozzi was then Post-Doc at University of Bologna, co-operating with Prof. Luca Benini as seniour group member. Research activity of this period mainly concerned multi-processor systems-on-chip and networks-on-chip. Bertozzi has been visiting researcher at Stanford University (Stanford, USA), NEC Research America (Princeton, USA), Philips Research Labs (Eindhoven, Holland) and Samsung Electronics (Korea). Davide Bertozzi is now Assistant Professor at University of Ferrara (Italy).
