评分异于常人的眼睛
评分技巧不突出但很会抓住人的情绪,最喜欢纽约地铁的部分。黑白胶片的魅力。
The author
Luc Sante teaches writing and the history of photography at Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York. He is a frequent contributor to The New York Review of Books and the recipient of the 2010 Infinity Award for Writing from the International Center of Photography.
The contributing authors
Sean Corcoran is the Curator of Prints and Photographs at the Museum of the City of New York, and was previously Assistant Curator of Photographs at the George Eastman House.
Donald Albrecht is the Curator of Architecture and Design at the Museum of the City of New York.
In 1945, at just 17 years old, Stanley Kubrick became a staff photographer for Look magazine. His humanist slice-of-life features celebrate his native New York City and already reveal a burgeoning creative genius. With around 300 images, many previously unseen, as well as rare Look magazine tear sheets, this release coincides with a major show at the Museum of the City of New York and includes an introduction by noted photography critic Luc Sante.
