比Interpreter of Maladies更忧郁，写作技巧也更复杂，也有更多禅意。Agony, bitterness, confuse是人生常态。从Hell到Heaven，纯粹因为苦难后的“悟道”。最后一篇Going Ashore，因为几乎亲身经历过，不忍卒读。

短篇小說集，只讀了主打故事“不適之地”，沒感覺有什麽不適的啊，看上去你們不論是印度還是孟加拉的過的比阿拉伯來的還滋潤。再說都是G2了，還能有什麽不適呢，苦大仇深的我苦不堪言啊，罄竹難書！！

Jhumpa Lahiri is the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship. Her debut collection of stories, Interpreter of Maladies, was awarded the Pulitzer Prize, the PEN/Hemingway Award, and The New Yorker Debut of the Year.
