Agatha Christie was born in Torquay in 1890 and became, quite simply, the best-selling novelist in history. Her first novel, The Mysterious Affair at Styles, written towards the end of the First World War, introduced us to Hercule Poirot, who was to become the most popular detective in crime fiction since Sherlock Holmes. 大学里读的很多，但都是波洛的探案集，这本是头一回读马普尔小姐的作品，但情节一如既往的紧凑，扣人心弦，最后凶手倒是出人意料，（当然这个是阿加莎的杀手锏了），现在很多作品都是靠对话推动情节，略显无趣，但是阿婆的作品虽然也是对话，但写的就能让人欲罢不能的读下去，...
评分很多人说这本书的谜底出乎意料、前面误导太多云云，我倒觉得这个案子出乎意料地好猜，了解阿婆套路或者推理小说看多了的人，在第一个伏笔出现时基本就该能锁定凶手了，明显到我一度以为真凶这条线才是个误导，以至于最后十页还在期待反转，不过可惜没有。 并不是说这本书不好看...
