Agatha Christie was born in Torquay in 1890 and became, quite simply, the best-selling novelist in history. Her first novel, The Mysterious Affair at Styles, written towards the end of the First World War, introduced us to Hercule Poirot, who was to become the most popular detective in crime fiction since Sherlock Holmes. 大学里读的很多，但都是波洛的探案集，这本是头一回读马普尔小姐的作品，但情节一如既往的紧凑，扣人心弦，最后凶手倒是出人意料，（当然这个是阿加莎的杀手锏了），现在很多作品都是靠对话推动情节，略显无趣，但是阿婆的作品虽然也是对话，但写的就能让人欲罢不能的读下去，...
評分最近有点空余时间，再次看了阿婆的《加勒比海岛谋杀案》，重温一下马普尔小姐的魅力。 小说还是很有意思的，悬疑设置的不是很深，也能猜到一些答案的，但是里面的人物都非常有趣，我非常喜欢阿婆对人物深刻的刻画，栩栩如生，可以想象到人物的样子，阿婆看来还是个婚姻保卫者，...

評分我很喜欢的一个调调就是在度假或者这类完全和犯罪挨不上边的休闲活动中发现犯罪的蛛丝马迹，最终衍生出真正的罪案。马普尔小姐很多故事都是走这个风格，波洛老爹也有，但少一点。 这一本的大意就是马普尔小姐在加勒比海度假时，一个碎嘴的老退伍军人告诉她自己听说的一个杀人犯...
