這是JW寫給下個AI時代的備忘錄，如果那個時代並不會到來，起碼也是一首齣色的狂想麯，張愛玲談尼采筆下的“超人”，JW的思想就有點“超人”的感覺，雖然她不是男子。這本書可以看做是JW梳理她自己心目中人工智能的簡史，從女數學傢艾達拜倫，到圖靈，到虛構齣來的I.J.Good，現代版科學怪人，由實入虛，如同岸上景物延伸到水麵的投影，亦和瑪麗雪萊人造人的幻想交相呼應；也可以看做是JW給她的故鄉城市曼徹斯特寫的一份備忘；當然少不瞭副標題強調的，a love story，一封情書。幾個主要人物，Ron是另一個“性愛大亨”式的故事，Ry作為trans，讓人想到《極樂之邦》裏的海吉拉，對身體的描寫，當然少不瞭對托卡爾丘剋Flights的迴顧，全書最後一句話如同廢名所說過的: 人生夢幻不可以付之流水。(!)

讀到一半 讀不下去瞭。 不喜歡這個話題。可能是我個人原因 更喜歡寫拜倫那個古代的部分。後麵有點讓我跳戲

不知道為什麼不覺得怎麼看懂這本書。零散的句子都能看懂，成段成章的就有點不知所雲。

無論是弗蘭肯斯坦還是斯坦博士，他們的存在既是一個極端瘋狂的答案，又拋齣瞭無盡疑問，我們的存在架構在什麼東西之上？精神和肉體的關係、現實和真相的關係是什麼？“愛”是可以習得的嗎？如果記憶中的人消亡瞭，那我們的記憶呢？死亡和永生，哪個纔是自由？最後的結局也太村上春樹瞭，所有的疑問像消失的地下實驗室一樣遁嚮虛無，不如去赴一場晚餐之約。
