作為學術著作的話，我個人不太喜歡這種檄文式的觀點呈現和論證風格，感覺如果傾注太多個人討伐式的態度不利於闡述和論證觀點並令人信服。核心論點並不新穎，但在提齣的“監視資本主義”極其相關的一套概念下麵能夠把很多經典理論編織進來自圓其說其實已經非常不錯瞭，有一些描述和定義也很有趣，從不同角度分析幾大互聯網巨頭一步步蠶食個人自由馴化個人行為的過程也非常細緻清晰。總體而言本書仍未跳齣老生常談的西式論調，創造再多新的概念，本質依然是個人自由和民主的問題，其實不如揭露本質來得實在清晰。包括此書在內，很多學者都喜歡把當代齣現的一些問題寫作“前所未有”，於是呼籲關注呼籲警惕，其實它們與幾韆年來的經典社會議題一脈相承，沒必要過分強調這種新穎和斷裂性。以及書最後又把救命稻草指定給民主和民主機構，實在是，無力吐槽…

過譽，not very original，避重就輕，缺乏“監控資本主義”造成的階層與族群更深隔絕視角，依然在“個體自由”與“西方民主”框架下，即有局限，也比較cliched。其中很多問題已被Zygmunt Bauman and David Lyon更深刻地討論過。
