作为Jane Austen 11-18岁的著作，与她成年时的著作有着不同的风格，但是在文字的驾驭能力，以及对于情节的设定方面却已经有了很深的造诣。读起来朗朗上口，同时却时时刻刻给人以出乎意料的结局。Austen对于人价值的探索在其早起的作品就初见端倪。又见一个不一样的Jane Austen.

评分I definitely enjoy this book though it belongs to Austen's juvenalia which can barely be compared with her later masterpieces. It doesn't matter caz I love everything about Austen. It is not as inferior as you think of. I rather view it as the early pieces of a genius. Sth is consistent-the uninterrupted happiness&the sweet sensibility of the soul.
