英文原版有些術語很是晦澀，但是所蘊含的人性光輝超越瞭一切

LD&R中最令我迴味的一集，原著很好地補充瞭細節（比如超光速旅行的背景設定），某些劇情也更 make sense（比如叫Suzy起床的動機以及Greta披露真相的動機），結局一樣絕望。科幻粉值得一讀。

愛死機裏印象最深，最細思極恐的一集，找瞭pdf花4h讀完。不愧是太空歌劇，深遠悲涼。不過看完愛死機再讀有一點點先入為主，而且我感覺愛死機拍的水平很高，不亞於這本原著。

Alastair Preston Reynolds (born 13 March 1966) is a British science fiction author. He specialises in hard science fiction and space opera. He spent his early years in Cornwall, moved back to Wales before going to Newcastle University, where he read physics and astronomy. Afterwards, he earned a PhD in astrophysics from the University of St Andrews. In 1991, he moved to Noordwijk in the Netherlands where he met his wife Josette (who is from France). There, he worked for the European Space Research and Technology Centre (part of the European Space Agency) until 2004 when he left to pursue writing full-time.
