评分高鸿业翻译很差，怀疑他是否读懂了《通论》。 高鸿业的版本是商务印书馆重译本。高鸿业是编了《经济学》教材的人大经济学权威，按理应该翻译好此名著。事实上里面很多句子不通顺，不像中国话。 对比下来，原先徐毓枬译本要好很多很多，尽管是部分文言翻译。
