The books of this series--Reviewing Biology,
Reviewing Chemistry, Reviewing Earth Sci-
ence, and Reviewing Physics--offer an innova-
tive format that comprehensively reviews and
supplements the study of science as it is usu-
ally taught at the high school level. Each book
is readily correlated with the standard text-
books for this level. The series is specifically
geared to the needs of students who want to re-
fresh their memory and review the material in
preparation for final exams.
Reviewing Earth Science contains a review of
the one-year introductory earth science course
for college-bound students. The material is di-
vided into fourteen topics, each of which is di-
vided into major subtopic sections. The book is
abundantly illustrated with clearly labeled
drawings and diagrams that illuminate and
reinforce the subject matter. Important science
terms are boldfaced and are defined in the text.
Other terms that may be unfhmiliar to students
are italicized for emphasis. In addition, the
large work-text format makes Reviewing Earth
Science easy fbr students to read.
