At thirty-four, George Hennard was remarkably
handsome, six-feet, one-inch, 185 pounds, and workout-
trim with a shock of black hair. Women found him
appealing at first sight.., until their eye, met--his dark,
penetrating, compelling eyes. Some have said they
turned away, frightened, responding to an innate instinct
to run, to run from what is threatening, not quite right.
Hennard filed his complaint with the F.B.I. in June
1991 about just that...~ tl~e flight of women from him.
That fall he would be shooting women in the face and
shouting "Bitch!"
