How are you, what do you think of the weather, how are<br > classes, howg the family, howg basketball practice, and all that.<br >Over time I learned to speed-read through those "preliminaries,"<br >knowing that I could (and would) go back to read the whole<br >thing over again a couple thousand times.<br > But I wanted to jump right into the good stuff.<br > I wanted to read the parts that said how wonderful and<br >charming I was...and what a godly, dedicated young man I was,<br >and how she couldn t live without me. She did say some very<br >nice, sweet things in those letters.., but somehow, it was never<br >quite enough. I not only wanted to absorb everything on the<br >surface, I wanted to dive even deeper into that perfumed prose.<br >I kept trying so very hard to read between those lines of neat,<br >feminine cursive.
