PREFACE In the late sixties an enormous proliferation of interest and imagery around the concern of Christians for social change became evidentï¼Œ A new book dealing with "the revolntion in theology" or " theology for the rev01u. tionï¼Œ" with puliticking as a theological concern or with theology as a political event appeared almost every weekï¼Œ Despite some overlapping both in language and in substanceï¼Œ the present publication is not to be under- stood as arising out of or catering to the faddist ap- proach to theology which most of this rhetoric repre- sents.
