Resource addresses， hotlines， and the glossary have been changed for the better; the glossary includes drugs that don't work， despite pressure on the FDA to rush approval for their use. Research findings through 1988 include new methods of faster and more accurate testing， such as PCR. Legislation regarding AIDS testing， including the Louisiana repeal， show the changing political attitude toward the complexity of this disease.
